Bayside Church Canopy and Assemblies Play Area

Reeve-Knight Construction was selected by the Bayside Church to update their existing facilities. The exterior canopy was replaced by a state-of-the-art custom build 32 feet tall, 8,650 square foot canopy that includes full audio & visual enhancements for all types of events that the congregation can host throughout the year. In addition to the canopy structure, shade covered pergolas were added on the east and west sides, adjacent to the buildings to accommodate plentiful seating and seamlessly ties in the buildings with the canopy. New entry facades with storefront modifications were completed on 2 of the buildings, and all 3 buildings received new complementary 2-tone color palate paint finish. The entire patio courtyard open area was replaced with 46,275 square feet of new concrete along with a waterfall centered in the gathering area that is both inviting and soothing to listen to. At the north assemblies courtyard, a play area including climbing toys with safety surface as well as an aquatic splash pad, were added for families to utilize during their stay at church events.

All of these additions are complementary to the recently completed 2 Soccer field, where we built support buildings, on the vacant land north of the main parking lot. These fields and the concessions building, along with the new canopy and play areas are an extension of Bayside’s outreach to their community and are available for use by the public through reservation with Bayside Church.
