This Town of Truckee Administration building is outfitted with 90 solar panels on its rooftop. A Maintenance Shop houses a tool room, wash bay, and a new ten-ton bridge crane. The bridge crane lifts and move heavy equipment parts, tires and other equipment. A sand-oil separator is located in the floor trench of the wash bay. The wash bay’s recycled water is reused for vehicle washing. Four storage tanks, which hold 8,000 gallons each, are located in the wash bay to retain rain water and snow melt, which have been diverted to the tanks from the roof.
